Grilled Chicken Breast With Orange Glaze And Citrus Butter Sauce
"When the thought of orange chicken pops into my head, my mind takes one of two detours. Either I’m in my local Chinese diner and taking in the sights and sounds of fired woks and sizzling meats and vegetables as it consumes the room with smoke and ethnic aromas. Or the thought also pops into mind of me sitting in the drive-thru of a Panda Express because “I don’t know, something about that place just sucks me in”. Now I know the majority of us are familiar with the deep fried, bite sized portion of chicken that we normally associate with the dish. To pivot off this, I inspire you to create a healthy dish of the grilled variety with chicken breast instead of bites. Like the traditional fare that’s normally covered with a little or an exuberant amount of orange sauce (depending on your supplier), this will still stay true to that Orange chicken nostalgia that you still love."
