Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 14 1/2 ounces canned tomatoes, broken up
- 15 ounces black beans, drained and rinsed
- 15 ounces red kidney beans, canned drained and rinsed
- 15 ounces canned pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 4 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned pepper
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion and green pepper, cook 5 minutes, stirring often.
- Stir in red wine, tomatoes, black beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, oregano, basil, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
