Spicy Beer Chili

Ingredients
- 2 onions, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 3/4 cup dark beer
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 can (29-ounce) crushed tomatoes
- 3 pounds canned red kidney beans
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil.
- Add onions and garlic.
- Saute until transparent.
- Add the beef a little at a time and brown.
- Add beer.
- Sprinkle in seasonings.
- Add crushed tomatoes and drained kidney beans.
- Bring to a simmer. Let simmer for 2-3 hours.
- Correct seasoning to taste.
