I am absolutely LMAO at these 'reviews'. Scroll down and go with Avery's recommendations if you have doubts about the recipe. Mainly, just use common sense.

Oh, and I forgot to add that usually 6-8 hours is enought time but some do call for 8-10 hours.

I was just reading the reviews And I thought I was recipe challenged LOL But here are some ideas if you want them First it will depend both on the size of your slow cooker and the number of people you need to feed For a to lb roast I would use either a or qt cooker It should be at least half full but not much more than full To stick with this recipe a lb roast version I have uses lb of potatoes and cups carrots Most recipes with these veggies call for them to be put into slow cooker first then the meat on top with whatever seasonings you're using then the liquid poured over The meat will add some juice to any other liquid but if you want more for gravy use a cup or so of beef stock or a can of beef gravy As one…Read More said it's very difficult to mess up a recipe like this in a slow cooker You can also vary the seasonings if you desire This is the first recipe I've seen that added corn to a pot roast though But sounds good to me Worth a try if you like it If not leave it out Simple common sense -

This was GREAT. Very simple to make, great flavor and it was consumed by young and old alike. No leftovers with this one.

come on- put what you want in ingr. usually on low 5-6 hrs. look at another roast, take a guess. you can't go wrong with a slow cooker, I use mine quite a few times and never ruined anything. don't be afraid.

What? step1) put what into slow cooker? the roast? I guess. step 3) what temp.? how long? Some of these 'so-called all-day' recipes are only as long as 10 hrs. Does this one cook 24 hrs.? How much potatoes, carrots, and mushrooms? cups or lbs. come on thought these recipes were monitored before putting on your site.
