Shrimp Marinara

Ingredients
- 1 can peeled tomatoes, cut up
- 2 tbs. minced parsley
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basal
- salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper one teaspoon dried oregano
- 6 ounces can tomato paste
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 pound cooked shelled shrimp
- grated Parmesan cheese
- cooked spaghetti or pasta of your own choosing
Instructions
In slow cooking pot, combine tomatoes with parsley, garlic, basal, salts, pepper, oregano, and tomato paste. Cover and cook on low for 6--7 hours. Turn control to high. Stir in shrimp; cover and cook on high for 10 -- 15 minutes. Serve, topped with Parmesan cheese, over cooked pasta.

I personally think making your own sauce is well worth it. I mean, you could grab a store bought marinara sauce, even a fancy one, and most times they do not hold a candle to making your own. I learned that first hand!Once I made my own sauce, I decided I was never going to buy store bought canned or jarred sauce again. I add a bit more garlic! Yum!

It was burning at 2hours on low until I put water in it....
