Slow Cook Chicken
Some days I don't feel like making dinner, but I feel like a home coked meal. On those days I resort to a slow cooker recipe. Slow Cook Chicken is one of my favorites to make on those lazy days. Full of flavor, it'll make you want to do it everyday.

Ingredients
- 5 pounds roaster
- 2 large onion, quartered
- 4 medium carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 lemon, quartered
- 1 lime, quartered
- Peeled cloves from 1 garlic bulb
- 1 red bell pepper, cut 1 inch strips
- 1 green bell pepper, cut 1 inch strips
- 1 crushed juniper berries
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tablespoons sage
- 2 tablespoons rosemary
- 4 cups chicken broth
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken a large pot or slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and cover.
- Follow slow cooker instructions or cook over low heat (barely simmering) for four to six hours. Remove the bay leaf.
