BBQ Smores
"This past week, we didn’t cook inside once. The weather has been incredible lately and has led me to get a little creative on the BBQ. On Friday we had BBQ S’mores. I never thought about making a dessert on the BBQ before but now that I have I will definitely do it again. Not only is this recipe super fast and easy to throw together, it’s also a low-cost summer dessert. There is nothing better than a dessert that requires no effort! This is one of those desserts! If you want more chocolate…double the amount."

We usually grill out quite a lot during the summer, weather permitting. Our son gave us a nice charcoal grill last summer, and it's gotten a fair amount of use over the past year. I like this recipe, but since it's a charcoal grill, it's not as easy to control the temperature as it is with a gas grill. But this would be a great one to try when the coals have died down a bit and we're looking forward to dessert.

Delightfully messy to eat, this is not a dessert for a formal dinner for the new boss, lol! However the whole family loved them and the children were fascinated that dessert was being prepared on the barbecue. It was a real winner with the children (the man of the house and I found them a little sweet for our tastebuds) but I will definitely be making them again.
