Blueberry Yum Yum
This sweet and creamy layered dessert is a delicious treat that would be great with any flavor of pie filling. Blueberry Yum Yum has layers of cookie crust, cream cheese filling, Cool Whip, blueberry pie filling, and crushed cookies. The flavor and texture combinations in this layered dessert recipe makes it one you'll want to eat over and over again. Each decadent bite is like a second in heaven. If you're not fond of blueberry, you can substitute peach, strawberry, apple or any pie filling to your liking.

Can dessert get any easier than using a can pie filling instead of cooking it over a hot stove in the summer when all you want to do is cool off? I love this idea because it is no bake and you can make it ahead of time. You can participate in the party because dessert is already made.

Blueberry YUM YUM YUM...this light, creamy, buttery, cookie, dessert is a real Summertime sensation. I love the fact that the basic recipe is so simple, and can be revised by using your pie filling of choice. If your having a big gathering you can make then in a variety of flavors to please everyone's taste.

This looks amazing! It is like a no bake cheese cake and a dessert bar in one. I have never heard of Lorna Doone cookies though. I looked them up on Google and see they that are shortbread cookies. Would any shortbread cookie be just as good for this recipe?

This is a really nice dessert for those of us who love blueberries. I haven't had Lorna Doone cookies in ages since my wife and I gravitate more towards the chocolate end of the cookie spectrum. I love light desserts during the summer and this is perfect for this time of year. I'd be tempted to try this basic recipe with some other fruits. I think strawberry or peach would be a great substitution.
