Who wouldn't want a brownie filled with ice cream? So, the presentation is not the best, but you could cover that up by turning this into a brownie ball recipe. Put the ice cream in a ball then wrap it with brownie batter, and roll that in sprinkles or candy pieces. No more mess. Everyone will like how it looks and tastes.

As the author admits, it's not the prettiest dessert, but it's certainly one of the most delicious ones I've encountered. I'd use a store-bought ice cream and there are a number of flavors I'd try. Mint chocolate chip would be a great flavor to use as the filling. Kroger has a Death By Chocolate flavor that would also be great. The ganache is wonderful and covers nicely a lot of the roughness of the construction of the dome. I'm sure this would be a real hit for any gathering.
