Can I leave out the pecans, or use another ingredient in place of them? My daughter is allergic to tree nuts, but we love desserts like this, so I really want to make this for a special dinner. I think the family will love it because the main ingredient is cherries.

I have some different recipes for "fluff" dessert/salads, but I've never made one with cherry pie filling. I can't wait to make this one. I love all the ingredients and I think it will look very pretty on the table at Easter and for a birthday party I am throwing. Thanks for the lovely recipe.

Can this recipe be prepared without regular coconut. Is there a substitue using a coconut abstract. I would love to hear your views. Thank you, Gee

I liked the flavor of the fluff, but I think it was a bit over-prepared when I tried it. It was far too smooth and creamy to the point where I couldn't see or feel the chunks of fruit and marshmallows. So that wasn't the most pleasant thing. I prefer my fluffs... well... less fluffy.

Good, but very rich! The cherries and pecans added a nice texture.

This dessert was unexpectedly delicious! I loved the addition of coconut, pineapple and nuts -- every bite was like finding a new treasure :)

This fluff reminds me of a cranberry dish my mom makes at Thanksgiving. Thanks for the memories!

This fluff is both pretty and tasty. It would be a great treat to dip some Nilla wafers in this pink dip--but it's also a treat on its own!

This was sweet and fluffy--just like the ambrosia salad my grandma used to make, but with cherries!

Very tasty! A perfect treat when you're looking for something sweet but light.

my mother (God rest her soul ) would make this for her family on special occasions and holidays...couldn't wait for those special days
