Wow, these look so beautiful and I would love to make them but the recipe for the actual macaron shells totally scares me! I would have to be in the total right frame of mind to take my time and follow all the directions to the T. I think I could do that to make these beautiful desserts though! I love how she has three filling options. Perfect for Easter!

Are Easter macarons taking over as the new painted Easter eggs?! Despite how cute these are and how delicious they sound, these cookies definitely require a lot more work than your typical colored Easter egg! For those with the desire to make these detailed delicacies, this is a great recipe to try. Once the shells are formed, the fillings are endless. I recommend adding in some matcha powder to make a light green cookie too!

These are beautiful little cookies. I don't know if I could bring myself to eat them after all the work and waiting....yes I could! This a great tutorial, and very detailed. There is also a link to another tutorial of tips for making the macaroon shells. Both tutorials have pictures.

These are such a beautiful and delicious delicate cookie! Everyone's baking cookies at Christmas time, but I think I'll start a new tradition and bake these cream cheese filled macaroons at Easter time for gifts!
