Almost any dessert with grandma's in the title can't be half bad can it? I love that this dessert is one of those summer treats that you can whip up and put in the freezer for one of those days when nothing seems to go right. You can pull this puppy out of the freezer and make things a little better at least.

You just can't beat a classic, and Grandma's Icebox Cake is indeed a classic. I made this as a fun project with my little niece today (babysitting). I actually just supervised, and let her make it herself, it really is that easy. I added bananas to the pudding layer, I just couldn't resist. My niece was so proud to show Mommy the special dessert she had made.

I am thrilled I found this recipe before I did my shopping for the week. This cake is so easy and so yummy. Look how few ingredients this sweet dessert takes. Can't wait to enjoy it tomorrow, after I get done licking the spoons with pudding and cool whip.
