- 2 6 or 8 inch round white cakes (made from box or scratch) made and cooled
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 8 ounces whipped topping, thawed
- 1 pound strawberries, sliced

Slice each round cake in half to create 4 layers. Set the cake layers aside.

In a medium sized bowl, use and electric hand mixer to combine the butter, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla until smooth.
-
Once smooth, add the 8 oz of whipped topping to the bowl and mix on high until completely combined.

Repeat steps with the 2nd and 3rd layer of cake.
-
Place the final layer on top of the strawberries. Generously frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining frosting.
