Carrot Margarita
"I sipped on my first carrot margarita at Flora Farms in Cabo San Lucas on a family vacation. I’m not a huge carrot girlie, but I was WOWed. It was unlike any margarita I’ve ever had! We ordered them in the garden before dinner and it was the perfect refresher to our meal. So delicious I knew I needed to make them for the blog! Flora Farms is an organic farm in the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains. Flora’s Field Kitchen is their on-site restaurant focused on hand-made food and farm fresh ingredients. And this Carrot Margarita highlights these aspects of their roots. The cocktail starts with tequila, triple sec, and lime as a classic margarita would, but add in fresh carrot juice with a bit of orange for a wonderful sipping experience."
