    Ingredients

    • 4 Large eggs
    • 1 cup Sugar
    • 2 cups Milk
    • 1 teaspoon Flour
    • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
    • 1 Pie crust
    • 1 cup Sliced fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, peaches, etc.)

    Instructions

    1. In a large bowl, mix sugar, flour, milk, eggs, and vanilla. 

    2. Pour mixture into pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

    3. Chill for 2 hours and then top with fruit.

    Oh, my goodness this is a tough question for me because I love pretty much all fruit...but I guess if I had to choose I'd say my favorite fruit dessert would have to be a tropical blend of fruit trifle, that I look forward to making every summer when the fruit is in season. It's got pineapple, mango, bananas, coconut, mandarin oranges, mixed all together with a touch of honey and brown sugar...then layered with cubes of lemon pound cake and whipped cream. Talk about a burst of flavor...and it's so yummy!

    One a year or so, I like to make pie with wild blueberries which we hand pick at the cottage.

    I would love to made and eat the simply fresh fruit custard my family and friends would love to eat it
