Chicken Alfredo Pasta With Bacon

NotesAdding seasonings and cream cheese to thicken the sauce would be a great idea. Using garlic powder would be an excellent choice to save some time mincing the garlic cloves. Dried Italian seasoning would also be a great thing to add to this chicken alfredo pasta recipe.

Ingredients
- 15 ounces dried penne
- 17 ounces boneless chicken breast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 ounces butter
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 5 ounces Honey-cured bacon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 ounce parsley
Instructions

Cut the bacon into bite-sized pieces and cook until crisp.

Cook pasta according to package, set aside, and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.

Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.

Season the chicken bites with salt and pepper.

Sear the chicken over-heated oil.

Add butter, minced garlic, and cook for 2 minutes.

Whisk in the cream, parmesan, and nutmeg until thick.

Add the reserved pasta water.

Toss the cooked pasta.

Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and crispy bacon bits.
