This recipe contains two of my loves: spaghetti and American Chinese food! I've never tried it from California Pizza Kitchen, but I'll probably still make it at home. 12/10 spaghetti

The photo looks so good that it was impossible to pass up the opportunity to made this Kung Pao Chicken Spaghetti. We used fresh red chilies instead of dried and salted peanuts (cos we did not have any unsalted). It is a particularly good dish and, if our family is anything to go by, yours will absolutely love it too!

I sometimes like to add fresh bean sprouts to this dish right near the end, as they blend right in to the pasta and add a little extra nutrition - one of my favorite local Chinese joints does this with their lo mein noodles. For a nuttier flavor, you could even try this using the whole wheat spaghetti, which is available at virtually every supermarket these days.

I've always wondered what Kung Pao chicken was. Now I know how to make it! I really like the look of this recipe and I love Chinese food so I think I'm going to like it. Cooking with sherry makes anything taste better! I think the heat from the chilies must be nice.
