Donuts in 15 minutes? Can you make them that fast? I like that you mention that these are fluffy treats. I am not a huge fan of dense donuts, but I do like them when I am expecting them. I like to have them with coffee or maybe a glass of hot tea.

This is the basic donut recipe where all the fancy donuts are based from. I like this 15-minute donuts because it has very simple taste, just baked flour, and sugar. No, fillings, no sprinkles, no designs. Very basic. Love it! I'm craving!!

Seriously 15 minutes only? I must try this recipe! My kids love donuts, well who doesnt? LOL, they each can eat a dozen of ball shaped donuts like these. My mom once tried a recipe, the donuts were very heavy. I hope this one will turn out great. Thanks for sharing!

The fine link works now. I have made both cake donuts and yeast donuts and they both have things going for them. Most cake donut recipes call for resting the dough before frying. These don't and I love that. Plus, the list of ingredients is fairly short. What makes cake donuts stand out? They stay fresher tasting longer than yeast donuts. Homemade yeast donuts get heavy after they cool down and sit for a day or two. These kind don't.
