My Moms French Canadian Meat Pie Recipe
"My mom makes the best French Canadian style meat pie. I’ve been after her for years to teach me her tourtière recipe, which wasn't written down anywhere and existed only in her head. I finally had the chance to spend the day with her recreating her recipe (and taking plenty of notes!). The recipe is easy to scale (I've included per pie estimates, as well as directions for making eight pies). The pies freeze well and can easily be heated for a quick family dinner."
