Zippy Cranberry Sauce
Finally, a cranberry sauce recipe with a bit of zip to it! A variety of spices gives this cranberry sauce its zippy flavor - it's a hit at our house.

Ingredients
- 6 inches cinnamon stick
- 12 whole cloves
- 2 whole nutmeg
- 16 ounces cranberries
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon orange peel, grated
- 1 cup orange juice
Instructions
- Put cloves and nutmeg into a tea strainer.
- Combine everything else including cinnamon sticks in a saucepan; place the tea strainer in the pan as well.
- Bring to a boil. Simmer, uncovered 5-10 minutes or until the skins pop.
- Remove the spices and chill. Makes 3 1/2 - 4 cups sauce.
