This green bean casserole with bacon and mushrooms sounds and looks so good. Topped with almonds, what's not to love. I'm thinking that I could use some beef broth made with bouillon cubes or even a veggie broth, since I always have those on hand. I wonder if using some leftover ham would be a great addition. Don't know though, when to add it ... to the beans, or to the fry pan along with the bacon. What do you think?
