This recipe is a great gift idea and a delicious snack mix. I like the sweet and salty combo and adding cranberries is a nice touch. I will fill mason jars and attach home made gift tags with ribbons. I like to make something other than traditional Chex mix recipes.

This would be a great recipe to put in some parchment paper, roll up and cut into slices...these days there are so many different Chex flavors you could probably make several different varieties just using the flavors that go with each Chex cereal and have a smorgasbord of goodies for a rainy day or to give away. I'd probably break up the pretzels a little and maybe add a little peanut butter and then coat them in the melted chocolate. Yum!

Not only is this a great idea for a gift but it is also a great idea for a lunch box treat. I would love to receive something like this though as a gift. Not only that, it is a great and novel gift to give. Also its not too expensive.
