Pizza Biscuit Puffs
When I was a kid and I got home from school, my go-to snack was Hot Pockets. I loved them. Like truly loved them. Once I had my own kids, I started making them at home. I will toot my own horn here and say that these are so much better than what I ate as a kid. The fun part is that you can let each kid add in what they like and it gets them in the kitchen and more aware of flavors that they like. If you have a kid who’s like one of mine, it will still always just be cheese and sauce. There’s no problem with that. It’s the retro classic love for me. Also, just as Hot Pockets were always convenient and in the freezer ready to go, this recipe can be as well. Make a whole bunch on a weekend and put the flavors per kid in a freezer storage bag with their name on it. That way each kid knows which ones are theirs.

The first and hardest step of this process is to pop that biscuit package and take years off your life by scaring yourself. Once you get past this, take each biscuit and split it in half horizontally. Next you can either take a rolling pin and spread them out a bit, or use your fingers and spread the biscuits flat.
-
You’re going to top one side of the biscuit with pizza sauce, cheese and oregano, and any other toppings you want. Once you are satisfied with everything in your personal pocket, cover with the other half of the biscuit and crimp the edges with a fork, making sure you have sealed the pocket all the way around.

Now if you live off an air fryer like I do, stick it in that bad boy for 8 minutes. If you haven’t crossed over to the air frying cult as of yet, you can just put them in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
