Hamburgers with Sweet and Sour Sauce
My mom makes a meatloaf that is seasoned much like these hamburgers with sweet and sour sauce. If you ever wondered what the worlds best hamburger recipe tastes like, make these hamburgers with sweet and sour sauce. You won't be disappointed!

Ingredients
- 1 can (8-ounce) shredded sauerkraut, drained
- 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup chili sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 pound ground beef
- 6 hamburger rolls
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sauerkraut, cranberry sauce, chili sauce, 1/4 cup water and brown sugar and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- In a bowl combine egg, onion soup, and 1/4 cup water and let stand 5 minutes.
- Add ground beef and mix well.
- Shape into 6 patties.
- Grill to desired degree of doneness and place hamburger patties on rolls.
- Serve with sweet and sour sauce.

You did not turn beef into a sweet and sour thing? Oh, yes you did! I am making this dinner tomorrow. If dinner wasn't already done tonight, I would be at the store getting the ingredients right now. I can't believe how good this recipe sounds. The sauerkraut and chili sauce are my favorite parts.
