Juicy Spicy Butter Burgers
Want to make juicy hamburger patties? Check out these juicy spicy butter burgers! They have a bit of kick from the peppers, a whole lot of flavor and are supremely juicy thanks to that bit of butter. Delish!
Notes
- This mixture is also very good made into cocktail-size balls.
- If using fresh green chili peppers, be sure to roast them first, then remove the skins and remove the seeds before chopping.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef (good quality)
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed and minced
- 3 to 4 fresh green chili peppers, chopped (see note) OR 1 small can chopped green chiles
- salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 8 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Put the meat in a mixing bowl.
- Crush or grate garlic very finely, chop the chili peppers.
- Add garlic and peppers to the meat along with salt and pepper.
- Mix well with hands, being sure that the chili and garlic are well distributed.
- Shape into eight patties.
- Grill or broil to desired degree of doneness, top each with a pat of butter and serve hot with toasted buns.

Butter makes meat taste so much better doesn't it? I love using butter to cook my eggs, polish sausage, and pork. I am happy someone else is using it to cook meat with because I felt like I was the only one using it that way. It just makes the meat richer and make it grill up better in the pan.
