Caramel Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients
- 14 ounces Kraft caramels
- 1 German (Swiss) chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
Melt the caramels and 1/3 c evaporated milk. Mix cake mix, melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, walnuts. Grease 9" x 13" pan, pat 1/2 of cake mixture in it. Bake at 350 for 7 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips and pour caramel mixture over partially cooked base. Drop/crumble rest of cake mixture over top. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Remove from oven, refrigerate before cutting (because of caramel).
