First of all do NOT put this is a 8 x 8 pan!!! I put it in a 9 X 13 and it spilled all over my oven. It burns on the edges and the middle does not cook at all. You may want to use a angel food cake pan. That way the middle will cook. Second, it is so sickening sweet it is hard to eat it. I felt like I was eating a cake that was made with cough syrup.

Recipe looks very inviting and I plan to make it soon. Just wanted to correct you on one thing. It should be "curb" your sweet tooth, not curve. Like "curb your enthusiasm". Used in this sense, it means tamper down. Curb your sweet tooth.

This was so good! It was light and fluffy, with tons of cherry flavor.

Wow, what a find this recipe is! You've changed my mind about the standard plain boring Angel Food cake which I happen to love...and have given me hope that it can be so much more. I'm not into really into sugary desserts so Angel Food has usually been my go to when I feel the need for something a little sweet. This is just perfection and I can't wait to try it...but, I think I'll go with a bundt pan.

This recipe is genius in its simplicity and I can imagine that it tastes amazing, I wouldn't necessarily call it 'not too sugary' in the sense that both angel food cake and cherry pie filling are loaded with sugar, but it probably does taste lighter than a cake with heavy frosting on it. (Psst, just fyi, the phrase is 'curb your sweet tooth', not 'curve', and it normally implies something that diminishes your desire for sugary things, which I'm not sure is how you meant it here. In this context I would use 'satisfy' instead.) I look forward to your next video!

The cherry pie filling gives this cake such a pretty pink color! And when you get a bite that has a big plump and juicy cherry in it, it is just heavenly! This would be an awesome light dessert to bring to a girl baby shower, or even just a casual coffee social. I like that it is not overly sweet or heavy! I can't wait to make this again!
