I cheerfully admit I'm an absolute addict when it comes to peanut butter. This cake is easy to whip up and tastes like a dream. I've haven't tried it with using a chunky-style peanut butter, but I'd like to experiment with that. Right now, I've just been sprinkling chopped peanuts on top of the frosting. I also use dark chocolate frosting since I think the two flavors are a perfect combination.

This looks like a recipe I would really like. I don't have that much of a sweet tooth, but when something sweet is paired with something a little salty, like peanut butter, I just can't help myself. I might sprinkle some mini chocolate chips on top, a dusting of sweetened cocoa powder, or even some chopped peanuts.

This is a recipe for my sister. She loves peanut butter anything. As a twist, you could top the cake with chocolate frosting. I think it would be fantastic either way. It has plenty of sugar and the chocolate frosting might temper the sweetness of the peanut butter cake.
