Juicy Chicken With Sweet Lemon Sauce
"The initial preparation to making this chicken dish is to combine the ingredients for the lemon sauce. The lemon sauce is a mixture of lemon juice, cornstarch, chicken stock, brown sugar and ginger, among other ingredients. Cook the sauce on low heat and set aside until ready for use. For the chicken, you can either use cut pieces of chicken breast or chicken thighs if you prefer. You’ll batter your chicken pieces/thighs in a combination of egg, cornstarch, salt and pepper to taste. Once fried, the chicken gets coated in the lemon sauce and then topped with chopped shallots for garnish."
