Teriyaki chicken is always good and this recipe does not disappoint. I felt it might be a little bland so added some crushed fresh garlic, ginger and chili and I also used fresh veg, instead of frozen because we have fresh veg in our garden. We had ours with lovely, fragrant jasmine rice and it was a very good meal. Everyone had seconds which I take as a sign of approval, lol!

Yum! How easy is this? This would taste great with any frozen vegetable you have on hand. Well, maybe not corn or Brussels sprouts. But, broccoli or peppers would taste great. I don't always keep frozen peas and carrots on hand. Or frozen green beans either. Since I like as little processed as possible, homemade teriyaki sauce is the way to go. There is a link to that too.

This is a yummy looking rice dish. I love rice, I can't get enough of it. I like teriyaki chicken too. I would use left overs as well as I hate wasting food and am glad to find ideas where I can use it up. It doesn't take a lot of time which is a bonus for me and I can throw it together after work. I'm definitely going to be making this soon.

Just what I like...simple and fast. Simple is eliminated with a bunch of measuring of spices for me. This has one...teriyaki sauce. It would be easy to customize this...using shrimp, beef....turkey...etc. Perfect for using left over means and veges. I can definitely see this becoming a regular meal in our house. Great for adults, and something kids will love too.
