I agree with Maggie G. It sure is hard to find the perfect macaroon recipe, isn't it? There are so many copies and fake ideas out there, but only a few will have that crunch that can still melt in your mouth like a real, French macaroon. I love that you chose to add blackberry and strawberry to this recipe. I love the tangy flavors.

Finding a good French macaroon recipe for the home chef is a tough task! Macaroons are delicate and more of an intermediate/expert task. This recipe is decent but lists all of the ingredients in grams. It would have been nice and helpful to have these pre-converted for the home chef. Still on the hunt for a simple macaroon recipe if anyone has any suggestions!
