Makes6 hot chocolate bombs
Preparation Time30 min
Ingredients
- 1 12-ounce bag Wilton Light Cocoa Candy Melts
- Hot Chocolate Mix
- Mini marshmallows
- Sprinkles
-
To make your hot chocolate bombs, add your candy melts into a glass microwave-safe bowl and microwave at half power for 30 seconds.
-
Stir the candy melts and continue microwaving 30 seconds at a time and stirring after each time. Repeat until the chocolate is completely melted and creamy.
-
Scoop about a teaspoon of the chocolate into one of the cavities and spread it throughout the whole half-circle. Try to spread evenly so that no chocolate pools at the bottom of the cavity.
-
Add chocolate to the remaining cavities and spread the same way as the first. Then put the molds in the freezer for 2-3 minutes to set the chocolate.
-
Remove the molds from the freezer and add a second layer of the melted chocolate. This time, spread the same way but focus more on the edges so they are nice and stable when you try to put them together.
-
Put the molds back in the freezer again for another few minutes until the chocolate is set.
