I love the chocolate bit of this cake, but I didn't know everything was homemade. I guess its a great learning experience making your own no-churn ice cream and showing off your hard work to some guests because this dessert is enormous. This takes me back to when i was a kid, and my mum would whip this up for us. The recipe is simple to follow.

Wow this is delicious! I don't usually eat a lot of ice cream, but when I saw this, I knew I had to try it. I love chocolate, so this was perfect for me. It is so good! I only got one piece of this because my husband finished it in two days, but that one piece was worth it! The recipe is really easy to follow. I love how it is separated by sections. It makes it so easy to make this. We will be having this again, but I will be hiding from my husband.

Without a doubt, I'm an ice cream addict. So it should come as no surprise that I'm drooling over this chocolate ice cream cake.

Wow, almost everything in from scratch in this recipe, even the ice cream. I love it! We have a lot of food allergies and sensitivities in our family, so having ingredients that we control is always a plus for us. I have an old Frys chocolate sauce recipe, so I can do the sauce from scratch too!

What a wonderful treat! It's a simple, easy to follow recipe which provides a delicious chocolate ice cream cake. I'd like to try the cappucino flavor variation that one of the commenters suggested. I also would add a thin layer of chopped walnuts or peanuts between each ice cream layer and garnish with any remaining nuts. I'm really looking forward to giving this a try soon.
