Ingredients

  • 200 milliliters milk
  • 4 tbsp margarine
  • 500 grams wheat flour
  • 40 grams fresh yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tsps sugar
  • condensed milk
  • sesame seeds
  • poppy seeds
  • oat flakes

Instructions

Warm up milk, 3 tbsp water and margarine. Put flour, crumbled yeast, salt, egg yolks and sugar into a bowl. Add the milk mixture and knead into a smooth dough. Let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes, then form 10 little balls and let them rise again for 15 minutes. Brush with condensed milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds or oats. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees centigrade for 15 minutes. For miniature Brotchen divide the dough into 20 balls and reduce the baking time to 10 minutes.
