Smoked Spare Ribs
Put down the barbeque sauce and check out this delicious recipe for ribs. Smoked Spare Ribs are marinated in a homemade rub made of cinnamon, thyme, garlic powder and mustard so all of the flavors are locked inside the meat. Pork recipes like this one are real keepers.

Ingredients
- 1 rack of spare ribs
- 2 tablespoons of mustard
- 1/4 cup dry rub
- For the Dry Rub:
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sweet paprika
- 1 tablespoon coarse salt
- 1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper 

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon to 2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper of chili powder (to taste)
- 2 teaspoons ground allspice

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions

Mix all the dry rub ingredients together.

Take the spare ribs and remove silver skin from the back side of the ribs.

Cover the ribs with mustard, then heavily sprinkle with dry rub and place in refrigerator over night.

Smoke the ribs for 4 hours or until the meat falls off the bone. Serve and enjoy!
