Ingredients
- 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 garlic head
- 2 star anise
- 1/4 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
- 700 grams boneless pork belly slices
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, honey, brown sugar, minced garlic, and Chinese five-spice powder in a bowl.

Arrange the pork belly slices in a baking tray.

Pour the marinade mixture into a bowl and cover it with a cling film.

Let it sit for 15-20 minutes.

Transfer the pork belly to a clean baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Cover the entire baking tray with aluminum foil.

Roast for 20 minutes.
