Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 medium sized chopped onion
  • 2 small sized chopped tomato
  • 2 chopped green chilli
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala
  • a pinch of curry powder
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin seed powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  1. Beat the eggs thoroughly in a basin.

  2. Add the onions, tomatoes and the green chillies. mix thoroughly.

  3. Add the garam masala powder, curry powder and salt. mix well.

  4. Heat the oil in a non stick pan and add the cumin seeds.fry for a few seconds over a medium flame.

  5. Pour the egg mixture and cook on both sides till light brown in colour.( reduce the flame) serve hot.

I saw a masala omelette being made on a cooking program and thought then I would like to try it. I am glad I found this recipe and I think I am going to try it. I do like Indian cooking and especially curry tastes. I would love to eat this with some cucumber and yogurt.
