Cumin Potatoes

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seed
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 1/2 pound cooked potatoes, cut into squares
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, finely chopped
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat 2 Tablespoons of canola oil in saucepan over medium-high heat. Add cumin seeds, turmeric and coriander. Saute for one minute.
- Add potatoes and saute for 15-20 minutes until reheated throughout and nicely browned. Remove from heat.
- Drizzle with 1 Tablespoon of canola oil. Add cilantro. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.

I note that this recipe calls for "cooked potatoes, cut into squares".. How should they be (or have been) cooked? How big should the squares be? Obviously, how the original "cooked potato" ingredient has been cooked and cut is going to have a big impact on the final product, if one were to follow the directions in the recipe!!
