Rice Krispies Treats
Who doesn't remember making Rice Krispies treats as a kid? If you have kids of your own, they're the perfect dessert to make together. With 3 simple ingredients, they're fast, easy, and require no baking!
Notes
Variations: Add nuts or chocolate chips to the cereal before mixing in marshmallows. Substitute 6 cups of granola for the Rice Krispies.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 cups miniature marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
Instructions
- Melt butter in a saucepan.
- Add marshmallows and stir until melted; remove from heat.
- Stir in cereal and blend until well mixed.
- Press into a buttered 13x9-inch pan.
- Cut into squares when cool.

Hello davmarsims62, You are welcome to alter this recipe and add peanut butter as well. I'd add it after you add the cereal and have blended for a bit. Then add peanut butter and mix with a large spoon. Sounds good actually. Thanks!!!

Can the rice krispie treats be made with peanut butter also? If so, when do you add it and how much?
