Baked Puff Pastry Monte Cristos
Baked Puff Pastry Monte Cristos are the ultimate brunch treat. These sweet and savory sandwiches were meant to satisfy your every craving. Made with puff pastry instead of bread, these sandwiches bake in the oven rather than frying in a pan or being grilled. All of the essence of this classic brunch item stays in tack, not to worry! This version just makes for a little different texture. Crunchy on the outside, warm and melty on the inside and sprinkled with just a touch of powdered sugar or drizzled with a bit of maple syrup for a hint of sweetness. This is one recipe that delivers on all fronts.

I love this Baked Puff Pastry Monte Cristos recipe. It is such a great twist on a Monte Cristo and it is so easy to make. It's perfect for a Sunday breakfast or brunch served with hashbrown potatoes and fresh squeezed orange juice. You could turn the orange juice into Mamosas, and stretch this to lunch...why not?
