Low Carb Lasagna Recipe
"A low-carb lasagna recipe perfect for those who are following a strict low carb diet. This healthy and gluten-free recipe for lasagna is an excellent choice to chop some carbs out of your diet. Low-carb diets have been recommended by many doctors for weight loss and improved health markers. The low-carb diet’s general rule is to eat whole foods that make for a complete, nutritious, and filling diet. Marinara sauce is easy to make. You just need tomatoes, onions, garlic, olive oil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. If desired, sprinkle some finely chopped fresh basil, oregano, and parsley and add freshly grated parmesan cheese before serving. "

Ingredients
- 4 ounces full-fat cream cheese (Cheese Dough Lasagna Noodles)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (Cheese Dough Lasagna Noodles)
- 2 large eggs (Cheese Dough Lasagna Noodles)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (Cheese Dough Lasagna Noodles)
- 1 cup onion minced (Filling)
- 1 pound ground beef (Filling)
- 1 cup marinara sauce (Filling)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (Filling)
- 6 tablespoons ricotta cheese (Filling)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (Filling)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F.

Line a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Add all cheese dough ingredients into a food processor.

Blend until evenly mixed.

It should have a thick, but still lightly liquid consistency.

If you do not have a food processor, you can mix by hand.

Pour cheese batter into prepared baking pan.

Use a spatula to spread the batter across the pan.

Bake for about 20 minutes.

Set cheese noodles aside to cool.

While noodles are cooling, prepare your meat sauce.

In a large skillet, add onion and ground beef.

Cook on medium heat until meat is browned. Drain excess fat from the pan.

Add in Italian seasoning and marinara sauce.

Reduce to low heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Evenly slice your cheese dough into thirds.

Your slices should just fit into an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.

Add a thin layer of meat sauce to the bottom of an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.

Add the first noodle layer over meat sauce.

Add 1/3 of the remaining meat sauce across the first noodle layer.

Spread 3 tbsp of ricotta cheese across.

Sprinkle 1/4 mozzarella cheese across.

Repeat with the second noodle, meat sauce, ricotta, and mozzarella.

Add the third noodle. Top with remaining meat sauce.

Sprinkle on remaining mozzarella.

If desired, you can add a pinch of dried herb seasoning to the cheese.

Bake lasagna for 20 minutes.

Set your oven to a low broil and let the cheese bubble and blister for about 2 minutes.

Let lasagna cool slightly before slicing and serving.
