This baked chicken recipe looks so good I am going to try it right away! I like that it has just a few ingredients. I am also going to try it with just a sweet and smoky rub that I purchased that already has the garlic and onion powders in it, as well as paprika, salt and pepper, cinnamon, chipotle peppers, and a little brown sugar. I will mix it in the flour and dredge away!

I grew up on fried chicken coated with flour and cooked in a heavy cast iron skillet. It was cooked slowly to cook it thoroughly and we ate it right away while it was still crispy. You don't find this kind of chicken in a restaurant anymore. This recipe is easier because it is fried in the oven. Salt, pepper, and paprika give the chicken all the flavor it needs.
