Can I use the same amount of peaches and grapes instead of the fruit cocktail? My daughter is allergic to pears. I love this salad though. We used to eat it at church at our carry ins. One of the ladies always brought in a batch of this to share with all of us. She graciously made triple or more.

Can you clarify on the Jello pudding? The small box is 3.9 oz. Is there one smaller that I haven't seen in the grocery stores?

I can't wait to make this World's Ambrosia Salad. I love fruity desserts and I love to whip up fruit salad with cream. I want to make this salad if only to try how the salad will taste like with the cheesecake pudding mix. This salad is so mouth-watering and irresistible.

We left out the marshmallows (because we did not have any) and it was still very good indeed! And it is so quick and easy to make that our 2 youngest children (boy and girl, 8 and 10 years old) made it for us. An aside I look forward to the day when they do all the cooking, lol! Anyway everyone enjoyed it and they want it again.

I love fruit in desserts. This recipe seem so simple and straightforward. I also have never seen cheese cake flavored pudding but I agree that you can use any kind of alternative I am sure. Personally I like butterscotch so I would try that one. I like the marshmallows in this recipe.I would imagine this makes quite a lot which is great for a take along to some event. I'm absolutely going to make this recipe.

I always try to think of something different to bring to summer potlucks and barbecues, and old-fashioned favourite would be perfect! I also have never seen cheesecake flavoured pudding, but i bet vanilla or even pistachio would be just as good. This dessert is so pretty and could be served in individual glasses/bowls or in a larger pretty trifle bowl. I'm definitely making this recipe soon!

I love fruit salads, especially Ambrosia salad. I don't think I've ever seen Sugar Free Cheesecake flavor Jello pudding in my local grocery stores. I hope it's not one of those flavors that has been discontinued. It doesn't have to be Sugar-Free, anyway. Maybe vanilla pudding would be just as good.

There is something about a classic recipe... I can't get enough of this "salad" and I bring it to every function, no matter what time of year. everyone loves it.
