I took this a ladies meeting this week and was thrilled at how much they loved it! It has a lovely gentle lemony flavor and a dollop of fresh cream (or good vanilla ice cream) on top elevates it to absolute heavenly status, lol! It is hot at all complicated to make and I can not recommend it enough!

This recipe is wonderful. You can even skip the lemon extract/flavoring and it is still great. Sometimes I use coconut flakes and sometimes vanilla extract/flavoring. This pie is a good base recipe that you can mix and match with lots of different flavorings/extracts.
