Individual Meat Loaves Wrapped in Bacon
Ingredients
- 1 1/2s pound ground beef
- 1 cup (about 4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, chopped (about 1/4 cup)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon instant beef bouillon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 slices thin sliced bacon, cut in half
Instructions
Mix everything except bacon; shape into 6 loaves. Crisscross 2 half bacon slices on each loaf, tucking the ends under. Put loaves on rack in shallow pan and bake uncovered 50 minutes at 350 deg. F. Serves 6.
