    Individual Meat Loaves Wrapped in Bacon

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2s pound ground beef
    • 1 cup (about 4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
    • 1 egg
    • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
    • 1 small onion, chopped (about 1/4 cup)
    • 1/4 cup lemon juice
    • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/2 teaspoon instant beef bouillon
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 6 slices thin sliced bacon, cut in half

    Instructions

    Mix everything except bacon; shape into 6 loaves. Crisscross 2 half bacon slices on each loaf, tucking the ends under. Put loaves on rack in shallow pan and bake uncovered 50 minutes at 350 deg. F. Serves 6.
