This dish sounds so delicious. I want my kids to expand their tastes and explore new foods. I think this will be a fun recipe for the family to have on movie or game night because we can all curl up in the living room with a big bowl of tasty beef and rice and veggies and spend some quality time together making memories. Thanks!

Sichuan beef is something I really enjoy, and for me, I do like it hot. I think I'd add a bit of chili paste to the recipe along with (or possibly in place of) the red pepper flakes. I like the idea of serving it over jasmine rice. My wife introduced me to that variety, and I really enjoy the extra dimension of flavor it gives. This is a great spicy dish to make for a quick dinner.

One pot cooking always gets my vote and especially when it is as deliciously tasty as this Sichuan Beef recipe. The ingredients are great and, when combined with the long slow cooking, make a dish that your family will love just as much as mine did. The sweet sour sauce is so good with the beef and I just love that she recommends browning the meat first as well as deglazing the browning pan and using those juices in the slow cooker. YUM!
