No Bake Oreo Reese's Peanut Butter Pie
"I use heavy cream to whip into the peanut butter instead of a non-dairy topping. I slowly added the heavy cream to the cream cheese, peanut butter, and confectioners sugar to make an extra light and fluffy Mile High Peanut Butter Pie."

My mom has this peanut butter pie recipe that is so rich, you can only eat a twelfth of the pie at a time, and even then it is so rich, you can barely get it down. Does this recipe turn out this way too? I think the cream cheese might be enough to cut through that richness, she only uses whipped cream.

I love peanut butter pie and I think I'd like this version if there wasn't some confusion with the instructions. In the intro to the recipe, Diane talks about using heavy cream instead of the whipped topping. The list of ingredients has the whipped topping, but the instructions refer to the heavy cream. I'm curious as to how much heavy cream one should use. It sounds like it needs some experimentation to find the proper amount. I'll probably try it both ways since it's a nice recipe for a pie I love.

This pie is so light and fluffy. It is also creamy and delicious. The perfect end to a meal.
