There's something settling about lemon after a meal. I think it just seems to settle the stomach. Maybe its the acid, I am not sure but when you've eaten there is something very satisfying about lemon which seems to round up a meal. I have a friend who always brings over a lemon dessert every time I invite her for a meal. I always look forward to that dessert. Now I have some of my own to make!
